The Rollercoaster Now is when things get interesting. The good fellas over at PCPitstop.com have several helpful web-based tests you can run to test all the aspects of your pc. One section includes a download and upload bandwidth test. They simply send a text file up and down, left and right, and in and out until your ports have been plugged from all angles. Here are the results Those numbers are kb/s, just for the record. This is where the Linksys' limitations show. The 10 base T really bogs down the usefulness of the adaptor. I figured that it would be some what limited, but to be honest, the data was shocking. I made sure that the data couldn't be skewed any way as to mess up the data. The other surprise here was that the Compex out performed the standard NIC in both areas.
